Not just any old face painting...

I've been face painting for 35 years with some sensible jobs along the way, but my love for this art just keeps me returning. You will get an experience with me, not just a silent stressed out face painter. Due to my lengthy experience I've had time to get extremely time efficient yet keeping the detail, all delivered with a calm friendly patient nature!  We will have a chat & a giggle too! My working career has always been customer or performance based so bring on the people with all their personalities. 

I love to do elaborate unique designs as well as the much loved classics.  Themed events can be worked into the choices. 

I've worked as a face painter as my full time job for big companies such as Red Funnel Southampton & Greenwood family Park, North Wales. I've solo face painted at busy music & wellbeing festivals & squeezed in some kids parties & corporate adult events too. 

I come fully equipped with professional gear, insurance & risk assessment. 

Glitter is one of the worst things to break down on our planet & this has to be important to any professional face painter as we get through so much. For your peace of mind & mine my paints & brushes are top quality,  my glitter is biodegradable & my paints are vegan meaning less chance of irritation as well as being suitable for full vegan lifestyles. 

My work hygiene is extremely important to me, my equipment gets thoroughly washed out after each event with a deep clean at the end of each season. I will only ever use 1 sponge per face to prevent infections between guests & these get a hot soap wash after every event. 

I've been hair braiding for just as long. I learned the art of wool hair wraps on a surf beach in Cornwall back in 1989 as a teen. These are the real deal & not clip in. I like to use wool instead of embroidery silks as it's a little better for the earth plus it saves alot of queue time. These can last for months if desired & any holiday loving  festy person should be seen with one! I'm an nvq 2 qualified hairdresser too so I'll look after your hair.

Im a loctician so id love to get you started on your dreadlock journey. I create your real dreads using the crochet hook method. Yes you do wash your hair!
